Heart of the Flute was born from a calling to follow a deeper path through music. Founded by Christopher Michael, the journey began as he transitioned from years of facilitating SoundBath and Meditation experiences to fully embracing the voice of the Native American Flute..
Relocating from New York in June of 2026, Christopher made the journey to the Red Rocks of Sedona, Arizona, where the majestic landscapes, and ancient history continue to inspire his music every day..
A lifelong musician and songwriter, Christopher blends the expressive voices of Native American Flute, Guitar, Drums, Vocals, and original music production to create compositions From The Heart – To The Heart. Every melody is improvised and inspired by his deep connection to the land and the emotion awakened in each moment..
As Heart of the Flute continues to grow, Christopher is expanding his work beyond performance. He is creating one-of-a-kind handcrafted Native American-style Flutes, each personally played and introduced through social media before finding a home with someone who connects with its unique voice..
Heart of the Flute also offers live performances for resorts, retreats, and special occasions. Christopher is also available to facilitate workshops in Native American-style flute playing and flute making..
This journey began in the heart, found its voice through the breath, and continues to grow—one note, one song, and one Heart at a time..
Welcome to Heart of the Flute..
Music has been my medicine for as long as I can remember..
At 17 years old, I found my first voice behind a drum set. Growing up, music became a place of refuge, a way to find peace during difficult times and navigate the challenges of family trauma. Whether it was a song on the radio or a melody playing only in my head, music was always there..
As the years passed, my musical journey continued. I played drums in bands, eventually picking up the guitar, and discovering a love for writing original songs. Every instrument taught me something different, but each one led me closer to the same destination: expressing what words alone could never say..
Then I discovered the Native American Flute..
For the first time, creating music felt less like performing and more like breathing. The flute became an extension of my heart, allowing melodies to emerge naturally through improvisation. It wasn’t about playing the right notes, it was about sharing an honest moment..
That journey gave birth to Heart of the Flute, a place where I share original music inspired by nature, reflection, and the simple beauty of the present moment. Whether I’m playing on a quiet mesa overlooking Sedona, beside ancient volcanic landscapes, or wherever inspiration finds me, my hope is that each melody offers listeners a chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with themselves..
I Am Honored to Meet YoU ..
